Dude and Paisley adoption

Dude and Paisley were due up for adoption on Sat. But the shelter had no space so they came back home for another night. On Sunday they had a spot open up so we brought them in.

Great news Dude went to his forever home very quickly. Poor Paisley on the other hand is still there and had to spend a night by herself. This is the hard is part of fostering. I think more so then bringing them in. I hate when i see one get left alone in a cage over night, but i know its reality.

Hoping she will be adopted today paws crossed. I think she has a decent shot since she is 1 of 2 kittens still at the shelter and we all know kittens are usually adopted first.

    Poor little Paisley tabby… But let’s hope she finds her place today so it won’t happen again. And rest assured that once she finds her home, the memory of that night alone will fade into the past pretty quickly.

    Hey Doodle, Paisley was adopted on Monday. So she did only spend 1 night alone in the cage. She and Dude are now in their furever homes. Now we need to get Tiny up to the right weight so the rest of the group can hopefully find their furever homes just as fast. ;)

    Yay!! Good news for little Paisley. All I can say about Tiny – the runt – is that my Sweetpea was 1/2 the weight of her siblings and seemed to take forever to catch up. But she did!
