Alot of people have asked for how we made the camera box. That protects our floor camera from the kittens on the Live Cam .

It was very easy we basically got a piece of wood and some clear plexi. ( Idea came from gstommylee on the ustream chat)

The plexi we bought was 8×10 then we made the back slightly larger than the plexi, and made sides about 4 inches wide by 10 inches tall. We then cut slits in the sides to be able to slide the plexi out for easy access to camera and to clean the plexi. The sides also have holes drilled in them for the sound to get to the camera’s microphone.

There is also a 1 inch dowel that goes across the inside for the camera to be placed on. There is also a little cut out in the back for the camera cord and then it is taped to the wall so the kittens are not able to bite at it or anything that could damage it.
